The Medicube Zero Pore Range: What to Buy and What to Skip

By the Medicube Reviews editorial team · product data refreshed 29 October 2026 · how we rank

We have not tested the products in this guide. Everything here is read from the listings, the published ingredient lists and what buyers report, not from hands-on use. What that means.

The Medicube Zero Pore range is the brand's line for pores, blackheads and oil, and it now covers every step from cleansing to moisturiser. This guide brings the whole Medicube Zero Pore line we track into one table, shows which products list an exfoliating acid, and explains how to build a pore routine from it without exfoliating three times a night.

We track 10 Medicube Zero Pore products on Amazon.co.uk; 9 of them have a full published ingredient list, and every list-based figure below comes from those.

Which Medicube Zero Pore products should you buy?

Two or three of them, not the whole line. One exfoliating step, one gentle cleanser and a moisturiser cover what the line can do; most of what lies beyond that adds more acid rather than more benefit. These are the best-rated Zero Pore products for each goal:

The Medicube Zero Pore products we track, compared

Each row is one product, ordered by the number of Amazon ratings it has. Positions are read from the product's own published ingredient list: "8th of 40" means the eighth ingredient on a list of forty.

Which Medicube Zero Pore products contain exfoliating acids?

7 of the 9 Medicube Zero Pore products with a published list carry at least one of the exfoliating acids we track: BHA, AHAs, PHAs or azelaic acid.

Where each acid sits:

2 list none of those acids. A product can still exfoliate in other ways, through plant extracts or a rub-off gel texture, which an ingredient list cannot measure:

Which Medicube Zero Pore products contain drying alcohol?

One of the 9 Medicube Zero Pore products with a published list includes a drying alcohol such as alcohol denat:

In the first ten places it helps a product feel light and dry down fast, and it can leave reactive skin tight. Fatty alcohols such as cetearyl alcohol are a different thing and are not counted here.

What the Zero Pore line can and cannot do for pores

The Zero Pore line can keep pores clear, which makes them look smaller; it cannot change their size. Genetics set the size of a pore and hormones set how much oil runs through it. What collects in the opening, a plug of oil and dead skin that darkens at the surface, is the blackhead you see and the reason a pore looks large.

Three things clear that plug. Exfoliating acids, BHA in particular, dissolve it from the inside; clay absorbs oil at the surface; and a thorough cleanse removes the sunscreen and makeup that add to it. Each Zero Pore product does one or more of those three jobs.

How to build a Zero Pore routine without overdoing it

Build a Zero Pore routine around a single exfoliating product used a few evenings a week, and keep everything else gentle. A sensible week looks like this:

  • Most evenings: cleansing oil if you wore sunscreen or makeup, then a gentle foam, then moisturiser.
  • Two or three evenings a week: your one exfoliating step, a pad or an exfoliating toner, after cleansing.
  • Once a week: the mud mask, on a night you skip the exfoliating step.
  • Every morning: a gentle cleanse or just water, moisturiser and sunscreen.

The line is sold as a set of steps that belong together, and several of them carry an acid. Using an acid cleanser, pads and an exfoliating toner on the same night means exfoliating three times, and skin tends to answer that with tightness, flaking and often more oil.

What to pair with the Zero Pore line

Pair the Zero Pore line with hydrating, fragrance-light products rather than more actives. A hydrating toner or a PDRN or collagen serum on the nights you are not exfoliating keeps skin comfortable, and a daily sunscreen protects freshly exfoliated skin.

Common questions

Does the Zero Pore One-Day Cream shrink pores?

No cream changes pore size. The One-Day Cream is a moisturiser sold for oily, pore-prone skin; its published list runs to 61 ingredients and includes salicylic acid (BHA) at 26th, with fragrance 61st. The full reading is on its review page.

How often should you use Medicube Zero Pore Pads?

Start at two or three evenings a week. Increase only if your skin stays comfortable the next morning, and stop for a few days if it feels tight or stings.

Is the Zero Pore line good for sensitive skin?

Parts of it can be, but the exfoliating products need care. Start with one product, patch test it, and check the table for fragrance and drying alcohol, which some of the line carries.

Can you use Zero Pore products with a retinoid?

Not on the same night. Alternate them: retinoid one evening, exfoliating Zero Pore product another, and a plain hydrating routine in between.
