Age-R is Medicube’s name for its device line, so searches for Medicube models, a collagen machine or a device comparison all mean this shelf. The names overlap heavily (Booster Pro, Mini, Mini Plus, Pro X2, Ultra Tune), which is the single biggest reason people end up buying the wrong one.

The Booster Pro Mini or Mini Plus. They do the core booster job for less than the full-size Booster Pro, in a compact body, which makes them the lower-risk way to try an at-home device before committing to the flagship.

Do I need special gel with the Age-R devices?

It depends on the model, so follow the manual for yours rather than a blanket rule. Medicube's own listing copy says the Booster Pro needs no conductive gel, and the Ultra Tune is used once your skincare has absorbed.
